These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of TradeTabs, a desktop trading journal and analytics application developed by T.D Digital (“we”, “us”, “our”).

Applicable mandatory consumer rights always take precedence over these Terms.

Purchases are processed by our reseller and payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record. It handles payment, taxes and invoices, and its buyer terms apply to the payment transaction. These Terms govern your license and use of TradeTabs.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to purchase TradeTabs.

3. The product

TradeTabs is desktop software for recording, organizing and analyzing your own trading activity. Features include trade imports, statistics, charts, journaling, goals and rules, and local exports and backups, as described on our website at the time of purchase.

TradeTabs currently runs on Windows. macOS support is announced on our website when available. System requirements are listed on our website. Please check that your computer meets them before purchasing.

TradeTabs is not a broker, trading platform or investment service. It does not place trades, connect to your brokerage account, hold funds or manage investments.

4. Price and delivery

TradeTabs is a one-time purchase at the price shown at checkout. There are no recurring fees for the license. Price changes do not affect completed orders.

After payment you receive your license key and download link by email and on the order confirmation page. If delivery fails, contact [email protected].

5. License

Each license allows you to use TradeTabs on one computer at a time. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use TradeTabs for your own use.

You can move your license to a different computer, for example when you replace or reinstall your computer. To do so, contact [email protected] and we will transfer your license. Your previous computer will be deactivated.

To use TradeTabs on more than one computer at the same time, you need an additional license.

You receive a right to use the software, not ownership of its code, design, trademarks or other intellectual property.

6. Activation and license checks

Activating TradeTabs requires an internet connection. While online, TradeTabs periodically verifies your license. Day-to-day journaling works offline. If your license cannot be verified for an extended period, TradeTabs may ask you to connect to the internet. Your data always remains available for export.

If we ever stop operating license verification, we will provide an update or instructions so that your licensed version keeps working.

7. Permitted use

You may not:

• share, sell, rent or distribute your license key or copies of TradeTabs;
• bypass license verification or other technical protections;
• copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer TradeTabs, except where the law expressly allows it;
• present TradeTabs as your own product or use our branding without permission.

This does not limit rights you have by law, such as making necessary backup copies.

8. Updates and support

Your purchase includes all updates for TradeTabs version 1.x. Future major versions, such as 2.0, may be offered as optional paid upgrades. You can keep using your licensed version without upgrading.

Updates are downloaded from our servers and require an internet connection. We will provide updates needed to keep TradeTabs working as described, including security fixes, as required by law.

9. Your data

TradeTabs stores your journal data locally on your computer. We do not receive or have access to it.

We process limited personal data for purchases, license activation, updates and support, as described in our Privacy Policy at https://tradetabs.app/privacy.

We recommend keeping regular backups using the built-in export and backup tools.

10. No financial advice

TradeTabs is a journaling and analysis tool. It does not provide financial, investment, tax or trading advice, and we are not your broker or adviser.

Statistics and reports depend on the data you import and your settings. They may be affected by incomplete broker data, fees, time zones, currency conversions or software errors. Always check important figures against your broker’s official records. Past performance does not predict future results. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions.

11. Refunds and right of withdrawal

TradeTabs is digital content delivered immediately after purchase.

At checkout you agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge that your 14-day right of withdrawal ends once you activate your license. This is confirmed in your order email. After activation, all sales are final.

If you have not activated your license, you may withdraw within 14 days of purchase by emailing [email protected] with your order number, or by using the model withdrawal form below. Your license will then be deactivated.

This does not affect your legal rights if TradeTabs is defective or does not work as described. See also our Refund Policy.

12. Defects and your statutory rights

You are entitled to software that works as described. If TradeTabs does not, contact [email protected]. We will repair the issue, or, where the law provides, offer a price reduction or refund.

We work hard to make TradeTabs reliable, but we cannot guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted or compatible with every computer or import file. This does not limit your statutory rights.

13. Intellectual property

TradeTabs, including its software, design, text and branding, is owned by T.D Digital and protected by law.

You keep full ownership of the trading data and notes you create or import.

14. Liability

Trading involves financial risk. We are not liable for trading or investment losses resulting from your decisions, including decisions made using information shown in TradeTabs.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded by law, including intent or gross negligence, and do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

15. Termination

We may terminate your license if you seriously breach these Terms, for example by sharing or reselling your license key. Where a breach can be fixed, we will give you notice and time to fix it first.

After termination you must stop using TradeTabs. You can still export your data.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms for future purchases, for example because of legal or product changes. The version you accepted at purchase continues to apply to your purchase unless you agree to a new version or the law requires otherwise.

17. Other

The license agreement shown during installation (EULA) summarizes these Terms. If they differ, these Terms apply.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU, you keep the mandatory protections of your country of residence.

If you have a complaint, please contact [email protected] first. We will try to resolve it quickly and fairly. You can also bring a dispute before the competent court.
