This Privacy Policy explains what personal data T.D Digital (“we”, “us”) processes when you visit tradetabs.app, buy TradeTabs, or use the TradeTabs desktop app, and what rights you have.

T.D Digital is the controller for the processing described in this policy.
2. Your trading journal stays on your computer
TradeTabs stores your journal locally on your computer. This includes trades, notes, screenshots, statistics and settings. We do not receive, store or have access to this data. It never leaves your computer unless you export or share it yourself.
3. What we process and why
Website visits
- Data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referrer, approximate country.
- Purpose: hosting the website, security, and anonymous visitor statistics.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website and understanding its use (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Note: we use Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track you across websites.
Purchases
- Data: name, email address, billing country, order details, and the checkout consent you give (including its date and the Terms version you accepted).
- Purpose: processing your order, delivering your license, invoicing, handling withdrawal and support requests, and keeping proof of your consent.
- Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal obligations such as tax and accounting rules (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- Note: payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. We never see or store your card or bank details.
License activation and verification
- Data: license key, a pseudonymous identifier of your computer, app version, operating system, IP address, and activation dates.
- Purpose: activating your license, enforcing the license terms, and preventing license sharing and fraud.
- Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in protecting our software (Art. 6(1)(f)).
App updates
- Data: IP address, app version, operating system and architecture.
- Purpose: checking for and delivering updates.
- Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Support
- Data: your email address, name and the content of your messages.
- Purpose: answering your questions and resolving issues.
- Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) or our legitimate interest in helping you (Art. 6(1)(f)).
The TradeTabs app does not contain advertising, tracking or analytics, and does not send your journal data anywhere.
We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for profiling or automated decision-making.
4. Who we share data with
We only share data with service providers we need to run TradeTabs:

As merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy is responsible for its own processing of your payment data. See the Lemon Squeezy Privacy Policy.
We may also disclose data where required by law.
5. Transfers outside the EU
Some providers are based in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, this happens on the basis of the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep data
- Order, invoice and consent records: 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law.
- License activation data: for as long as your license is active, and up to 1 year after deactivation.
- Support emails: up to 2 years after the conversation ends.
- Website logs and statistics: according to Vercel’s retention, generally no longer than 30 days for logs. Statistics are aggregated.
7. Cookies
Our website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Fonts are hosted on our own website, so no data is sent to font providers. When you click the checkout button, we load the Lemon Squeezy checkout, which may set cookies that are needed to process your payment. See their privacy policy for details.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access and secure storage of license records.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your personal data;
- have incorrect data corrected;
- have your data deleted, unless we must keep it by law;
- restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- receive your data in a portable format.

You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl, or with the authority in your own EU country.
10. Age
TradeTabs is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
11. Changes
We may update this policy, for example when we add new features. The latest version is always available at https://tradetabs.app/privacy. We will inform customers by email about significant changes.
